Happy Mother's Day

Enjoyed a wonderful mother's day at home today with my husband and son, then headed over to my mom and dad's house for a family barbecue with my sister as well.

Here's the card I made for my mom this year:

Supplies:
Patterened papers - Echo Park, A Beautiful Life
Stamp - Kaisercraft, Occasions; Ink - Versafine, Onyx Black
Die - Studio Calico; Embossing Folder - Lifestyle Crafts

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there. Hope you enjoyed your day too!

Welcome!

Spring is here,a time for new beginnings, and feeling very inspired and completely motivated following this past April (my most productive month of scrapping ever) I thought it would be a great time to start a new blog. So welcome!

I love scrapbooking and papercrafting in general. I also love the online communities I have found with others that share my love for this hobby. Big Picture Classes tops that list for me.

Currently at BPC, I am enrolled in a year long course, Inspired Scrapbooking, with Stacy Julian. In April I also took Stashbusters Anonymous with Aly Dosdall. Both of these have been huge motivators and sources of inspiration and the support, feedback and encouragement received when sharing my layouts in the class galleries is wonderful. I highly recommend them!

Here's the most recent layout I've created about my son. This was inspired by a sketch from Kelly Purkey for her latest Sketchbook class over at Studio Calico, another great online community I have have taken some classes with.

Looking forward to more inspiration and sharing and we'll see how this blog thing goes....

Thanks for stopping by.

Kerri
